Position Description

Job title: Research Assistant

Work days/times: flexible

Hours per week:  about 10

Hourly wage: $8.65  to $9.30, depending on experience

Start dates: open

Supervisor: Bettina Bair

Description:

This position requires a skilled and self-reliant person able to work with minimal supervision. Duties include: online research, problem analysis and technical solution development. Students will pursue one of several available projects.  This position will report directly to the TWiCE Director.

Qualifications:

Applicants should be able to learn how to use new computer technologies independently, and be able to write code in one of the following languages: C++, VB, C#, Java or Resolve.  The successful candidate will be able to make a long-term commitment (two or more quarters) to the project and have the ability to make effective use of the resources and opportunities available.
